We understand your workplace
Prior to joining Shelby, our consultants have held various positions within TAFE institutes, ETSSC and supported schools in senior roles in the Department of Education’s non-teaching staff branch in central office so we understand the issues confronting the department, colleges and schools on a daily basis. The Shelby team has substantial knowledge and experience gained through consulting to educational agencies and institutes. Shelby prides itself on a tailored approach to suit your specialised needs.
Our HR team has helped with selection for all types of positions, from support roles in schools to supervisors, managers and executive directors in the central office. We have also classified countless positions, both routine and complex. In one example, our team led the development of an innovative classification methodology for a major review of over 3000 school support staff. Shelby routinely provides short listing support to a number of smaller agencies. We have reviewed and advised on structures and provided specialist services and advice on HR matters. The team’s broad HR knowledge, experience and understanding of the big picture ensure our professional support and guidance adds real value. We can do as much or as little of the process as you require ensuring we deliver a service which fits with your budget.
