Audit of operations and processes for JPJ Construction


In 2014 Shelby Consulting was contracted by JPJ Construction to audit their operations and processes and ensure contractual compliance with a major utility company. Shelby initially undertook an audit of the contract and all documentation and operational processes of the company. As a consequence, a number of operational gaps in policy and systems documentation were identified. Shelby then redesigned operational workflows, supporting policies and documentation. Collaborative meetings were held with the stakeholders throughout the project to fine-tune the improved documentation being developed. At the end of the project Shelby prepared a complete strategic and operational business plan which JPJ have been able to use for future contracts and tenders. This was a very time sensitive  project as every day taken resulted in a day less of work for JPJ.
