Executive Selection

Description

In 2014 Shelby was engaged to coordinate and support the recruitment and selection of high caliber staff to fill the three new Executive Director, Class 2 positions in the Department of Environmental Regulation. These positions are responsible for the functional areas of Compliance and Enforcement, Policy and Enforcement, and Licensing and Approvals. For expedience and enable consideration of people applying for several of the three positions, applicants were shortlisted and interviewed concurrently. The process logistics were well managed, the selection process was completed within four weeks and no breach claims were received. Subsequent appointment of the successful applicants to these key executive role occurred quickly.
