Evaluation of English as an Additional Language/Dialect in early years professional learning program

Description

Concluding in 2013, Shelby completed an evaluation of the English as an Additional Language/Dialect in Early Years professional learning program for the Department of Education. This required the collection of qualitative data from participants and facilitators of the professional learning through telephone interviews and forums. Interview schedules were developed, and the data collected was coded and analysed for common themes. This evaluation had a very tight timeframe constrained by school holidays and the report deadline being brought forward by two months. The telephone interviews and forums were completed quickly, and the final report was submitted to the client on time for them to meet their deadline.
